Now, it’s time for Indian fans to rejoice as HMD is bringing its first smartphone to India. HMD asked fans to name their phone
The company decided to choose a different approach for naming their first phone in India, as reported by NokiaMob. This was done for the obvious reasons: marketing. Fans gave different ideas, such as Knife, Tremor, and Indhumanoid. Some fans even gave the idea to name it after their favorite anime, such as Naruto. While, some of them chose a hilarious approach giving ideas like Sharpsy, Giggles, etc.
After a dozen suggestions from fans, the company finally chose the name for its phone. It was announced by Rajasthan Royals, which is an official partner for HMD in India. The name chosen for the first HMD phone in India is “Arrow.”
