Meizu 21 Note Debuts As Affordable Flagship With Generative AI Capabilities

Meizu 21 Note

The Meizu 21 Note has made its official debut in China. While it does belong to the latest smartphone series of the company, the new smartphone comes with a last-gen SoC. More specifically, it packs Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the predecessor of the latest 8 Gen 3.

But the good part is that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is still a great performer. After all, it was the last-gen flagship. And thanks to this last-gen flagship SoC, the Meizu 21 Note could keep the price down. The new Android smartphone starts at CNY 2,599 (around $360). To compare, the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 device that you can get right now, the Realme GT 5 Pro, will cost you about $500.

As for the software, the Meizu 21 Note runs on Flyme AIOS. As the name kind of gives it away, this Android skin comes with generative AI capabilities. You have circle to search, voice transcription, document summaries, and many other fancy features.
