Realme is all set to launch its GT phone in the global market. The Realme GT 6 will be making a debut on June 20, as confirmed by the company. Before the phone gets unveiled, Realme has started teasing some of the main highlights of the phone, including the processor and gaming features.
Realme Opts For Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
For those unaware, the Realme GT lineup is targeted at heavy users such as gamers. Hence, performance is a main priority for GT phones, and the GT 6 is no different. Hence, Realme has opted for the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It is a high-end chip that takes inspiration from Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the truly flagship chip. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is based on 4nm architecture ensuring high efficiency. The processor has eight cores, consisting of one Cortex-X4 core at 3000 MHz, four Cortex-A720 cores at 2800 MHz, and three Cortex-A520 cores at 2000 MHz. On the AnTuTu benchmark, it scored 1.65M+ which is a decent score. Hence, gamers should not have an issue running any games on the Realme GT 6 thanks to Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.

Realme has also announced the phone to come with the world’s largest Dual VC Cooling. This will ensure that the device stays cool under heavy loads like extensive gaming sessions. Moreover, there is also an additional feature for gamers: “Geek Power Tuning.” This feature allows you to customize the chipset according to your requirements. We will have to wait and see how it works.
AI Features is also a focus
Realme founder and CEO Sky Li gave an interview to Forbes where he discussed some details about the upcoming Realme GT 6. He emphasized AI features for the phone. Here is a quote from the interview:
The competition in the industry will shift from hardware alone to a combination of hardware, software, and overall technological capability. AI is becoming the next hotly contested spot, AI imaging, voice and interaction will be the three major trends on the future development of AI.
Hence, we can expect some AI advancements with the Realme GT 6. Currently, the official landing page of the phone reveals an “AI Smart Removal” feature where users can remove any unwanted objects from a photo. However, we will have a closer look once the phone officially arrives on June 20th.
