Preparations seem to be underway for Samsung’s next major product launch event. According to reports, the company is gearing up to host its Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris on July 10th. This highly anticipated event is expected to unveil the latest iterations of Samsung’s popular foldable smartphones – the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6. Additionally, whispers suggest the reveal of a new device called the Galaxy Ring.

Thanks to reliable insider source @OnLeaks, details surrounding the upcoming foldables’ storage options, colorways, weight, and pricing have begun to emerge.

The Galaxy Z Flip6 appears to maintain a familiar form factor, retaining the same display sizes – a 6.7-inch main foldable display and a 3.4-inch cover screen. However, reports suggest an upgrade to the camera department, with a potentially improved 50MP main sensor on the rear. The phone’s thickness will also increase slightly, from 6.9mm to 7.4mm, possibly hinting at a larger battery capacity. On the aesthetic side, the Z Flip6 will be available in a range of refreshing colors. Including Mint, Silver Shadow, Yellow, and Blue.

The Galaxy Z Fold6 seems to be taking a slightly different design approach compared to its predecessor. While the display sizes are expected to remain similar, reports suggest a more boxy design aesthetic. The reported dimensions of 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm indicate a phone that is 1.4mm shorter and 2.6mm wider than the Fold5. The Z Fold6 is expected to feature a large 7.6-inch main foldable display and a 6.2-inch outer display. Weight-wise, the Z Fold6 is reported to be lighter than its predecessor. Tipping the scales at 239g compared to the Fold5’s 253g. Color options for the Z Fold6 are Navy, Silver Shadow, and Pink.

Under the hood, both the Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 will run the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset. Samsung designed this processor specifically for their devices, and it might even include built-in Galaxy AI features to boost the user experience.

The reported pricing information suggests a potential increase compared to the previous generation. The Z Fold6 will come in three storage variants – 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Priced at USD 1099.99 and USD 1219.99, respectively.
