According to the official sources we are apparently coming close to the day of actual release for the new UMIDIGI Note 100. The exact date is still shrouded in mystery, but July launch seems very likely. And now we got some extra details and confirmations about the specs for this phone. So we can have better idea about what is waiting for us.
For starters the upcoming UMIDIGI Note 100 will be true to its name and will offer quite large 6.8-inch screen. Which will make it one of the biggest screens within the Note models available on the market. The display will also get the 120 Hz refresh rate and some extra eye protection features for smooth and comfortable visual experience. I would probably bet on non-OLED panel, but maybe UMIDIGI can surprise us even in this regard.
We will be also getting 50MP main camera as the leading sensor in the triple camera setup. So the camera capabilities are definitely promising with high-definition main sensor, especially considering the assumed affordable price range. And the 5000 mAh battery capacity will be also boosted by the alleged 100W fast charging. And that is quite the selling point by itself. Such charging performance is usually reserved for the upper midrange or high-end models.
Although UMIDIGI did not reveal the exact chip model when launching the Note 100, considering UMIDIGI’s consistent value-for-money strategy, we speculate that this phone might be equipped with an MTK or UNISOC chip. These chips offer excellent performance at a friendly price, perfectly aligning with UMIDIGI’s brand positioning.
Based on the above configuration details, we can infer that the UMIDIGI Note 100 is a smartphone that combines a large screen, high-definition photography, long battery life, and high cost-effectiveness. We are quite curious about the pricing for the model as the potential for a solid “Note” smartphone is definitely there. So stay tuned for the actual launch.
