Infinix Note 40 series targeting the mid-range market currently consists of four devices: Infinix Note 40, 40 Pro, and 40 Pro+. Now, the company is preparing to launch one more option in the series, the Infinix Note 40s. Before the phone is launched, the company has revealed the specifications and highlights of the device on its official website. Let’s have a detailed look below.
Familiar Design
The Infinix Note 40s has an identical look to the previously launched Note 40 Pro. It has a big camera module on the back giving it a bold look. There is an Active Halo Design on the rear which essentially is an LED lighting that syncs with various activities like notifications, incoming calls, etc. The device will be available in two color options: Vintage Green and Obsidian Black. For durability, the company has assured users with IP54 ingress protection. The device has a thickness of 7.75mm and weighs 176g.
Infinix Note 40s Specifications & Features
The Infinix Note 40s features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080*2436 pixels. For gamers, the phone will offer a smooth experience with its 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the display is also curved giving it a premium look.
Gizchina News of the week
Coming to the camera segment, the phone offers a 108MP f/1.9 primary shooter and a 2MP macro sensor. Unfortunately, it misses out on an ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP shooter on the front.
In the performance segment, the phone features a Helio G99 Ultimate processor. It is an 8-core processor with a 6nm process. However, it is limited to 4G connectivity only. Compared to the Note 40 Pro+ with a Dimensity 7020 SoC, the Infinix Note 40s seems to cut costs with a less powerful 4G processor.
The phone runs on a big 5,000mAh battery capacity. The phone supports wired fast charging of 33W. It also supports wireless charging at 20W with a MagKit case. Other notable features include JBL-tuned stereo speakers. More information regarding the Note 40s can be explored on the official website.
Conclusion
That said, the Infinix Note 40s looks a watered-down version of the Note 40 Pro+. It features a similar design but cuts costs with a 4G processor and a lower charging speed. However, it still looks like a strong offering with its unique Active Halo Design and support of the MagKit Case. Hopefully, soon we will have more information regarding the pricing and availability.
