OnePlus held a big event today revealing the OnePlus Nord 4 and the OnePlus Pad 2. While these two devices were the stars of the show, the company also took the opportunity to unveil the OnePlus Watch 2R and the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro. Let’s dive into the technical specs and features of these two devices.
OnePlus Watch 2R
The OnePlus Watch 2R, as the name suggests, is a modified version of the original OnePlus Watch 2. It is also known in China as the OnePlus Watch 2 (eSIM), but unfortunately, the new variant does not carry the eSIM feature.
The OnePlus Watch 2R has updated watch bezels, two round side buttons, and an updated watch band. The wearable is also 25% lighter than the OnePlus Watch 2 and comes in at just 37 grams thanks to its aluminum casing.
The wearable is equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display. Under the hood, it carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip. It is paired with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of Internal Storage. The device dual boots Android Wear OS 4 and an RTOS for lighter apps and tasks. The dual-boot system also ensures a longer battery endurance, while Wear OS 4 consumes more energy, RTOS compensates in this regard. The wearable has a 500 mAh battery rated at 100 hours of active use.

The watch also offers dual-band GPS, tracking 100 activities, heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, and stress sensors.
The OnePlus Watch 2R comes in Forest Green and Gunmetal Gray colors. The device costs $230. The open sales will begin in the US, Europe, and the UK start today while buyers in India will need to wait until July 20.
OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro comes with 12.4mm tetanized dynamic drivers. It supports the newer Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity standard and has SBC and AAC codec support. It has support for manual equalization for those who are familiar with sound tuning. The hearables come with Active Noise Canceling (ANC) with claims of a 49dB reduction in noise.
The earbuds come with IP55 dust and water resistance. It features a 440 mAh battery and a 44-hour total listening time.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro sells in Starry Black and Soft Jade colors. The price is set at $80. Just like the Nord 2, the Buds 3 Pro is available in the US, Europe, and the UK. Indian consumers will have to until July 20 when the sales will begin.
