Modern phones are nowadays heavily focusing on the efficiency, instead of just sheer power and performance. But even with that you still quite a massive capacity, because the modern technologies are still fairly power hungry.  Heavy phone users demand at least a full day of heavy usage with any anxiety about battery life or need for multiple charges. Many brands are already addressing such concerns with smartphones featuring battery capacity even over 6000 mAh.

Big industry names like Vivo, Honor, Tecno or Huawei have already launched smartphones with 6000 mAh batteries. And seems like we will have soon yet another one coming to the market with a new UMIDIGI model. These Chinese guys are about to release such a new phone in the near future, designated as G100. And the big battery capacity breaking the 6000 mAh threshold will be one of the main highlights and selling points.

Not just the big battery inside the G100…

Thanks to their excellent industrial design capabilities, the thickness of the G100 will be controlled around 8mm. And the battery cells will use higher energy density technology, keeping the overall weight of the device around 200g. It is also expected to feature a more powerful 18W fast-charging technology. The rest of the specs is yet clouded in the fog of speculation, but it is quite likely it will be an affordable device. But we will be surely getting some closer info about the phone soon.

The actual launch will be likely happening by the end of August. The first sales will be surely also enhanced with some extra promo sales, so can’t hurt keeping an eye on the official UMIDIGI page. But we will of course monitor all the news and updates about UMIDIGI G100 for you, so you are not missing out on anything. Stay tuned.
