Google is preparing for the launch of Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The company has posted a new teaser that reveals the smartphone featuring a new design language. Pixel 9 Pro Fold Looks Bold
In the newly released official teaser, the company has showcased their latest foldable device. It comes with a big boxy camera module on the rear side featuring two pill-shaped camera layouts. It does not look as elegant as we had expected while it is more on the bolder side. Google could have opted for a more aesthetic design for the camera module such as a single pill-shaped cutout or something more innovative.
The teaser also shows the Pixel 9 Pro’s cover display. On the cover display, there is a punch-hole notch housing a selfie shooter. The display itself looks wide which would make it useful for using it like a normal smartphone. Users will be able to operate the phone normally through the cover display and can switch to the cover display when required.

As with foldable smartphones, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold also has an inner display that can be opened to get a tablet-like experience with its big panel. This is the major highlight of a foldable phone and hence becomes a good choice for multimedia consumption. The inner display of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has prominent bezels. For comparison, the Galaxy Fold 6, which is another popular foldable phone has thin bezels that gives it a modern look. Hence, it would have been better if Google made the bezels thin for a more immersive experience.
For now, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold has been showcased in two color options including gold and black. Though, the phone may be available in more color options.
