Vivo X200: Camera, Screen and Battery Details Surface

Vivo X200

The Vivo X100 series might be fresh in our heads, but several months passed since its release. Hence, nothing will stop Vivo from bringing a new Vivo X200 series. The company is working on its new flagships at full stem, and the first details about them are starting to pop out. Last month, a rumor out of China emerged suggesting the upcoming Vivo X200 would have a smaller screen when compared to its predecessor. Today, some additional details about the new smartphone have emerged.

Vivo X200 – 1.5K Display, 50 MP Camera and More

Digital Chat Station on Weibo now states that the Vivo X200 will be a small-screen flagship. The new handset will feature a 1.5K resolution display. It will have symmetrical bezels on all four sides. They are not just symmetrical, but apparently, the phone will also bring tiny bezels. Perhaps, Vivo is stretching the display the best possible to ensure a good screen-to-body ratio. It also helps in making the phone more compact.

The alleged Vivo X200 in Leaked Shots

Moving on, the new leak also details the Vivo X200 camera. The flagship will feature a custom 50 MP “super large” Sony sensor for its main camera, as well as a 3x telephoto helper. The battery will feature high-density silicon, which can pack more mAh into the same size as older technology.

Under the hood, the flagship will feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. This chipset hasn’t been announced yet, and that should happen only in the final quarter of 2024. Hence, the Vivo X200 will appear only after the announcement of such a flagship. Moving on, the device will also feature a 50 MP ultrawide on the back and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

The launch date for the Vivo X200 is still a mystery. Considering that the Vivo X100 got official in November last year, and the Dimensity 9400 hasn’t been released yet, we might still be in for quite a wait.
