Motorola’s Edge 50 Ultra is a new smartphone that came out in April. It has a really good screen, a super fast processor, and a camera system that’s supposed to be amazing. To see how good the camera really is, Motorola sent it to DxOMark, a place that tests how well phone cameras work.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra: A Top-Tier Camera Phone?
The Edge 50 Ultra has three cameras: a main one with 50 megapixels, a wide-angle camera with 50 megapixels too, and a zoom camera with 64 megapixels. DxOMark tested how well these cameras took pictures and videos.
Gizchina News of the week
When DxOMark tested the Edge 50 Ultra camera, it got a score of 146 points. That’s really good! It’s as good as the iPhone 14 Pro Max and the iPhone 14 Pro, and slightly better that the iPhone 15. But it’s not as good as the Google Pixel 7 Pro or the Honor Magic4 Ultimate.
One thing the Edge 50 Ultra does really well is take pictures in different kinds of light. It also does a great job of making pictures look sharp and clear. The camera is also really fast at focusing on things. And it’s good at taking blurry background pictures (called bokeh).
But there are some things the Edge 50 Ultra camera could be better at. Sometimes, pictures are too bright or too dark. And there are little mistakes in some pictures. The zoom camera isn’t always perfectly sharp, and the wide-angle camera doesn’t always show a lot of detail.
Overall, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a pretty good camera. It can take great pictures, but it’s not perfect.
