Infinix is launching a lot of smartphones in the market. Now, the company has introduced a new one in the Indian market. It is the Infinix Note 40X that brings 5G connectivity to budget-conscious consumers. Design of Infinix Note 40X
Infinix has opted for a familiar design language for the Note 40X. It is not an innovative design and features an iPhone-like camera module design housing three sensors. However, it is available in bright color options which some users will like. On the front, there is a punch-hole notch giving it a modern look. However, there is a prominent chin which is acceptable considering the price tag.

Infinix Note 40X features a 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution. Additionally, it provides a 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth touch experience. The display also has a feature called Dynamic Bar which helps users get alerted about notifications.

In the camera department, the phone rocks 108MP primary, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor. It is a versatile camera setup, and the big 108MP shooter will allow images to have more details. On the front, there is a 8MP shooter for selfies.
Powering the smartphone is the Dimensity 6300 processor featuing 8-cores. This chipset comes for MediaTek and is made for affordable smartphones. It can handle general tasks but the main highlight is the 5G compaitability. Many phones in this price range are limited to 4G, hence the Infinix Note 40X stands-out.
The Note 40X features a big 5000mAh capacity battery that should last a long time. However, the charging is limited to 18W. It would have been better if Infinix opted for a slightly higher charging speed. The phone boots with XOS 14 based on Android 14 OS. Pricing
The Infinix Note 40X is priced at Rs 14,999 ($178) coming with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The 12GB RAM variant costs slightly higher at Rs 15,999 ($190). The smartphone will be available in India starting from August 9.
That said, this is a decent phone for budget-concious consumers looking for a futureproof smartphone with 5G connectvity. The high-res display, big battery and 108MP camera are some additional highlights. Though, it does not have the fastest charging speed and innovative design in the market.
