The standard Vivo V40 takes a lot of inspiration from its elder sibling. It gets a similar 6.78-inch AMOLED panel. This one offers a 1.5K resolution and provides a 120Hz high refresh rate. Similar to the Pro model, it also has 4500 nits brightness.

Instead of a MediaTek chipset, the vanilla V40 opts for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. This is an upper mid-range chip providing sufficient performance for most tasks. It also has a similar 5500mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

In the camera department, the Vivo V40 gets a dual rear setup featuring a 50MP primary and 50MP ultrawide lens. Hence, the major difference between the two offerings is that the vanilla Vivo V40 lacks the telephoto lens. The selfie camera is a 50MP shooter on the vanilla V40. Lastly, it also runs on FunTouchOS, which is based on Android 14 OS. For more information, check out Vivo’s official website.
