Gizchina News of the week
The Huawei tri-fold phone is shaping up to be a technological powerhouse. Recent leaks suggest a massive 10-inch display and a groundbreaking hinge design. Under the hood, the device is said to feature a Kirin 9-series chipset. This is the same processor slated for the Mate 70 series.
Another interestingpiece of information shared is that the tri-fold phone may launch before the Mate 70 series. This positions the device for a potential September or October release. But as with previous Huawei foldable devices, it may not land onall markets. US consumers, in particular, may face challenges in acquiring the device due to the trade ban. Of course, it’s possible to import Huawei phones through third-party resellers.
But the problem with third-party resellers is the warranty. You would need to ship phones back, which can be a hassle. So, it’s usually better to buy devices directly from the manufacturer.
