Redmi K80 Pro Specs Leaked: Round Camera Module and More Revealed

Xiaomi will soon introduce the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro in October in China, marking the debut of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset in smartphones. Following this launch, it’s rumored that Xiaomi will release new flagship models under the Redmi brand. The Redmi K80 and K80 Pro are anticipated to be unveiled in November. The Redmi K80 Pro will likely feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, while the K80 might be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared some key information about the rumored Redmi K80 Pro on Weibo.

The new leak also hints at the Redmi K80 Pro having a flat OLED display with a single punch-hole and thin bezels. Previous reports suggest the screen will offer a 2K resolution and include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display. The smartphone will arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It is based on a new 3nm architecture and includes the Cortex-X925 core for high performance.

Rumors also point to a triple-camera setup on the back, with a 50 MP main camera. It will come alongside a 50 MP telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom. Moreover, the tipster claims the K80 Pro will have a round camera module. It will sit in the upper left corner of the back panel, without the decorative studs found on the K70 Pro. The design will include a glass back and a metal frame.

Battery capacity details remain uncertain. While the tipster mentioned earlier this year that the K80 Pro might have a 5,500mAh battery, a more recent leak suggests it could be 6,000mAh. The phone will arrive with impressive 120W fast charging technology. It fits with the current trend of smartphones offering large batteries with fast charging capabilities.

As the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Redmi K80 series launch dates approach, more information will emerge.
