POCO Pad 5G Confirmed for India

According to Himanshu, the POCO Pad 5G will be the ideal device for a variety of tasks—whether you’re binge-watching your favorite shows, unleashing your creativity, or simply tackling daily productivity. The promotional image hints at the tablet’s support for both a stylus and a keyboard, indicating that it’s designed to enhance both entertainment and work-related activities.

The POCO Pad made its global debut back in May. It has a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM, ensuring robust performance. The tablet also boasts quad speakers for immersive audio and a hefty 10,000mAh battery, complemented by 33W fast charging support.

Interestingly, the POCO Pad shares many similarities with the Redmi Pad Pro, which hit the Indian market just a few weeks ago. However, it’s anticipated that the POCO Pad will be more budget-friendly compared to the Redmi Pad Pro. As of now, it’s unclear whether POCO will introduce both the Wi-Fi and 5G variants in India since the teaser image only highlights the POCO Pad 5G. We’ll have to wait for further details to see how the lineup unfolds.
