The launch of the new tablet is scheduled for September 5 at PM Beijing Time, and the latest teaser suggests the arrival of two variants. We can see a large model in the teaser alongside a compact version. It’s unclear whether this is just a display difference or the specs will also be different. We expect more teasers to arrive and give us more details about the tablet. Hopefully, we will see the same specs for both models. It will be interesting to see a sub-10-inch tablet with gaming specifications.

Gizchina News of the week

The teasers confirming the date omitted any mention of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. That information surfaced in a separate video teaser released online, where two individuals briefly conversed about the Red Magic Gaming Pad. From this, it became evident that the device will incorporate the formidable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading, featuring the Cortex-X4 CPU core clocked at 3.4 GHz and the Adreno 750 GPU at 1 GHz.

Additionally, a substantial battery with fast-charging technology is anticipated. Last year’s model boasted a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 2.5K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. Rumors from last week hinted that the new tablet might be more compact. Now, it is evident that there will be two variants. One is expected to retain the 12.1-inch display, while the other will likely feature a smaller screen. An aggressive gaming design, a hallmark of the Red Magic series, is also anticipated.

With only a few days remaining until the release, it is likely that Nubia will unveil further teasers soon.
