Honor Magic 7 Pro Spotted in Live Images

The Honor Magic 7 series is anticipated to debut in January 2025. Recent updates from a notable Weibo source, @旺仔百事通, have unveiled real-life images of the Honor Magic 7 Pro. The leaked pictures confirm that the Magic 7 series will retain its signature equal-depth, quad-curved display, continuing the design trend from its predecessor. This feature is expected to enhance the phone’s sleek aesthetic and provide users with a more immersive visual experience.

Honor Magic 7 Pro Will Sport a Pill-Shaped Display

The leaked images further show that the Honor Magic 7 Pro will sport a centered, pill-shaped cutout housing both the selfie camera and an additional sensor. Interestingly, the cutout appears slightly more compact compared to the one found on the Honor Magic 6 Pro, suggesting a refined design that may contribute to a more streamlined and less intrusive front display. This adjustment could potentially improve the overall user experience by offering more screen real estate.

The Honor Magic 7 Pro keeps the older models’ flat frame and rounded corners. However, rumors point to big improvements. While the display will likely stay at a 1.5K resolution, it’s expected to offer better visuals. The phone may also use a high-density silicon-carbon battery, boosting efficiency.

For the camera, reports suggest Honor tested the Magic 7 Pro with a 50 MP OmniVision OV50H sensor. It also has a Sony IMX882 for telephoto shots. This hints at better photo quality, especially for zooming. Another exciting feature is the possible debut of a new AI Agent, which could make this an AI-powered flagship device.

With leaks making rounds, the official launch seems near. It’s also believed that the phone will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. Since Qualcomm plans to release this chip in October, Honor might reveal the Magic 7 series around that time.

October will be a hectic month for smartphone enthusiasts. We will likely see the launch of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400. The New flagship SoCs from Qualcomm and MediaTek, respectively, will kickstart a new wave of flagships. We expect the Honor Magic 7 Pro to get momentum with a release in November.

In related news, Honor brought a set of new products to global markets, including the Honor Magic V3 foldable.
