Realme P2 Pro Spotted on Geekbench – Key Specs Surface

Realme is gearing up to unveil its newest P series smartphone, the P2 Pro, in India on September 13. As anticipation builds for the official debut, a recent Geekbench listing has surfaced, shedding light on some of the phone’s core specifications.

While the performance on Geekbench does not translate into real-life performance, these results offer a glimpse into the device’s performance capabilities, hinting at what users can expect in terms of hardware. This early peek shows that Realme continues to carve out a space in the competitive mid-range market. So without further ado, let’s see what the new smartphone carried on to Geekbench.

Realme P2 Pro Specifications on Geekbench

The Realme P2 Pro, carrying model number RMX3987, made its appearance on Geekbench. It scores 866 points in the single-core test and 2811 points in the multicore test.

Under the hood, the P2 Pro boasts Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. It has 12GB of RAM. The specs suggest that the device is well-positioned to offer a balanced blend of power and performance. This chipset is beyond what we usually see in a mid-range market, and it’s an interesting choice from Realme. The phone runs on Android 14 which is hardly a surprise at this point.

The Realme P2 Pro, already approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), is ready to launch soon in India. Realme has shared some details about the phone. It has a 120Hz AMOLED screen with a small punch-hole for the front camera. This means smoother visuals for gaming and videos. The back will feature an oval-shaped camera module with a golden ring, similar to other Realme phones in 2024.

For photography, the P2 Pro boasts a dual-camera system with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It’s a feature not often seen in phones at this price. Realme also revealed the phone’s 80W Ultra charging, which can give you 1.5 hours of gaming or 24 hours of music after just a 5-minute charge. This fast-charging ability makes the P2 Pro stand out.

At the same time, Realme has launched the Buds N1 TWS earphones in India. These earbuds have an in-ear design, are water- and dust-resistant, and come with touch controls. They feature a 12.4mm bass driver, 46dB of active noise cancellation, and AI-powered call noise reduction. With Spatial Audio for better sound quality, they offer up to 40 hours of battery life, including 9 hours on a single charge.
