HMD Fusion

HMD Global has released its latest smartphone, the HMD Fusion. This innovative device offers users a unique and customizable experience. Yes, like the CMF Phone (1), it’s modular. So, you can get more out of the design.

The HMD Fusion comes in two storage options: 128GB with 6GB of RAM for €269.99 and 256GB with 8GB of RAM for €299.99. It is currently available for purchase directly from HMD Global in European markets.

HMD Fusion Has a Modular Design and Entry-level Specs

As mentioned earlier, one of the HMD Fusion’s standout features is its modular design. This allows users to customize the phone’s functionality and appearance. You can use interchangeable covers called “Fusion Outfits.” These outfits aren’t just for the aesthetics, though. They can also add various features to the phone, such as wireless charging, enhanced protection, and a ring light.

Beyond the Modular Design

The HMD Fusion boasts a semi-transparent plastic shell that not only looks sleek but also facilitates easy repairs. Similar to the HMD Skyline, the Fusion allows for quick access to the battery, screen, and other essential components. HMD has also committed to providing spare parts through iFixit for the next seven years, ensuring long-term durability and repairability.
