Performance and Processor

The primary difference between the two models lies in their processing power. The V40 Lite 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC, a 6nm chipset that ensures efficient performance. On the other hand, the V40 Lite 5G takes a step further with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, built on a 4nm architecture. This not only enables 5G connectivity but also improves overall performance, making it more suited for users who prioritize speed and multitasking.

Sleek and Durable Design

One of the key design highlights of the V40 Lite series is its ultra-thin body, measuring just 7.79mm in thickness. The devices feature a 2.5D Metallic Frame, adding to their premium look and feel. Despite their sleek profile, these smartphones are designed to withstand everyday wear and tear. Both models come with an IP64 rating, which means they are resistant to dust and splashes. Additionally, Vivo has incorporated wet touch technology into the display, allowing it to function even with raindrops on the screen.

Camera Capabilities

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the camera setup on the V40 Lite models. Both phones come equipped with a 50MP primary camera, utilizing Sony’s IMX882 sensor to deliver high-quality photos. The V40 Lite 5G model offers an additional 8MP ultra-wide camera, ideal for capturing wide-angle shots. In contrast, the 4G model substitutes the ultra-wide lens with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait photography. The 32MP front camera ensures excellent selfies and video calls, making these devices suitable for content creators and social media users.
