Xiaomi has just unveiled the Redmi Note 14 in China. This new entry-level smartphone boasts a unique design that sets it apart from its higher-end siblings, the Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro Plus.
Unlike the Pro models, the Redmi Note 14 features a top-left mounted camera housing. This design element is reminiscent of the Redmi Note 13 5G. This suggests a continuation of Xiaomi’s design language for its entry-level offerings.

Xiaomi has packed the Redmi Note 14 with additional surprises. Rumors suggested the device would be powered by the Dimensity 7050 chipset. But Xiaomi has instead chosen a different MediaTek processor from the same family.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 14 houses the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset. Xiaomi paired the processor with a large 5,110mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Also, the device features LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 flash storage. These two are there to ensure stable performance and ample storage for users’ needs.

The Dimensity 7025 Ultra, powering the Redmi Note 14, is likely a slightly better version of the Dimensity 7025 chipset, which is in Motorola’s Moto G55 and Moto G64. This suggests that users can expect solid performance from the device.
In terms of display, the Redmi Note 14 sports a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 1080p resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen also boasts a peak brightness of 1,200 nits (HBM), ensuring excellent visibility even in bright conditions.
