Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Beats Pixel 9 Pro XL and iPhone 16 in Performance

As reported by GSMarena, when it comes to Geekbench scores, the Galaxy S24 FE performs admirably. It achieved 2,146 points in single-threaded tests and 6,711 points in multi-threaded tests. In the 3DMark Wild Life Extreme GPU test, which evaluates graphics performance, the Galaxy S24 FE scored 3,870 points. Although the Galaxy S24+ leads with 4,565 points, the gap between the Galaxy S24 FE and Apple’s iPhone 16 Plus, which runs on the latest A18 chipset, is surprisingly narrow. The iPhone managed 4,029 points, just 4% higher than Samsung’s budget-friendly option. Additionally, in the 3DMark Solar Bay real-time ray tracing test, the Galaxy S24 FE earned an impressive 8,242 points. Although the Galaxy S24+ scored slightly higher with 8,743 points, the iPhone 16 lagged behind significantly at 6,691 points.

Gizchina News of the week

Across all tests, the Galaxy S24 FE also outperformed the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. Showcasing Samsung‘s prowess in balancing price and performance.

The Galaxy S24 FE is powered by the Exynos 2400e, a slightly scaled-down version of the Exynos 2400 found in the more premium models. Despite this difference, the performance gap between the two chipsets is minimal. Making it unlikely that users will notice any significant difference in everyday tasks, apps, or gaming.

In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE offers impressive performance, standing toe-to-toe with flagship models while being more budget-friendly. Its performance in real-world applications is strong, and for most users, the slightly lower scores compared to the Galaxy S24+ or iPhone 16 will be hardly noticeable. This makes the Galaxy S24 FE a fantastic option for those seeking top-tier features without the flagship price.
