The Realme GT 7 Pro is gearing up for its big debut in China on November 4. While the date is one week away from us, Realme has already teased one of the standout features ahead of the launch – a Samsung Eco² OLED Plus display. This revealgives us a glimpse of the high-end screen tech the series will boast. It promises better efficiency and visuals.
Realme GT 7 Pro Display Boasts 120% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage
The Realme GT 7 Pro will feature an advanced 8T LTPO panel, which ditches the typical polarizing layer found in regular OLED screens. This change enhances both contrast and visibility, giving users a more vivid and immersive display experience.
According to Realme, the GT 7 Pro’s screen can hit an impressive 2,000 nits of global maximum brightness, and for localized areas, it can even reach over 6,000 nits, making it perfect for viewing in bright outdoor conditions.
What’s even more impressive is that, despite those massive brightness levels, the new panel uses up to 52% less power compared to the display on the Realme GT 6. Realme also revealed that the GT 7 Pro’s screen covers 120% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. That’s a new milestone for the industry in terms of display accuracy.
Samsung’s display offes hardware-level full-brightness DC dimming. It ensures a flicker rate as low as 1 fps. It maintains consistent, uniform colors even in low brightness conditions. Plus, it’s HDR-certified and supports Dolby Vision, enhancing the overall visual quality for an exceptional viewing experience.
The GT 7 Pro’s display will sport a sleek micro-quad-curve design, with gently sloping sides for a more modern and premium look. Along with its impressive aesthetics, it will also come equipped with a Qualcomm ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, offering faster and more secure biometric authentication. This blend of style and advanced tech should make the GT 7 Pro’s screen both visually stunning and highly functional.
