The world’s first 5G mini rugged smartphones, the Ulefone Armor Mini 20T Pro and Armor Mini 20 Pro, are now available for order on AliExpress. Data indicates that pocket-sized rugged devices are quite popular among consumers. Within this series, the night vision version, the Armor Mini 20 Pro, is priced at only $249.99, while the FLIR thermal imaging version, the Armor Mini 20T Pro, is launched at a price of $329.99.

The Ulefone Armor Mini 20 Pro’s infrared night vision capability is brilliantly highlighted in a test video that demonstrates the device’s superior performance in low-light conditions. This feature is particularly beneficial for observing animals in the dark, where you typically have limited visibility.

Night vision performance

In a completely dark environment, the Armor Mini 20 Pro outperforms the iPhone, providing a clear and detailed view of objects. The video comparison shows that while the Mini 20 Pro’s camera can penetrate the darkness and reveal details with remarkable clarity, the iPhone’s camera struggles, rendering the scene as pitch black with little to no visibility. Whether for wildlife observation, security purposes, or any activity that takes place in the dark, the Armor Mini 20 Pro stands out as a reliable and powerful tool.

The Armor Mini 20 Pro comes with a polygon LED light encircling the camera modules, which serves both as an ornamental feature and a practical lighting solution. A physical button allows for one-key lighting, making it an ideal fill light source for enhancing photography and videography in low-light conditions.

Additionally, the built-in warning light features simulated red, blue, and police light effects, making it suitable for emergency situations such as fire, first aid, and police responses. It comes with a warning sound and offers two light modes: always-on and flicker. Furthermore, the exclusive body camera holder makes the phone a practical choice for law enforcement and other professional fields.

Rock solid specs of Armor Mini 20 Pro

In terms of connectivity, the Armor Mini 20 Pro is a powerhouse, thanks to its MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G SoC, which provides high-speed 5G network access and 5G mobile WiFi capabilities. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage, which you can increase up to 2TB.

Despite its compact size, featuring a 4.7″ HD+ display, the Armor Mini 20T Pro carries by a substantial 6200mAh battery. It supports both 33W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Its Ultra Power Saving Mode allows the device to last for up to 26 days, keeping you connected even in the most remote or challenging environments.

While the Armor Mini 20 Pro steals the spotlight with its infrared night vision, the Armor Mini 20T Pro, lacking this feature, compensates with professional FLIR thermal imaging capabilities. Both devices boast identical specifications, ensuring users receive the best of both worlds in terms of durability and high-tech features.

In addition to the new 5G offerings, Ulefone has also launched a new 4G version of its popular flagship series, the Armor 27. The Armor 27T and Armor 27 come equipped with FLIR thermal imaging and infrared night vision, respectively, and are now available on AliExpress starting at $239.99.
