OnePlus 13: Enhanced Battery Life and Security Features

OnePlus 13

OnePlus has officially introduced the OnePlus 13, its latest top-tier smartphone. It comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a better cooling system. The OnePlus 13 will launch in China on November 1st. Prices start at ¥4,499 (around $632) for the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The top model has 24GB RAM and 1TB storage and costs ¥5,999 (around $843).

Bigger Battery and Faster ChargingOnePlus 13

OnePlus has boosted battery capacity to 6,000mAh, allowing up to 11 hours of video playback. It’s bigger than the OnePlus 12’s 5,400mAh battery. The new battery uses silicon-carbon technology, which makes it more powerful and thinner. Charging speeds are the same as before, with 100W through USB-C and 50W on OnePlus wireless chargers. The OnePlus 13 also offers reverse wireless charging at 10W. Users can share power with other devices, although at slower speeds.

Better Display, Durability, and Security

The OnePlus 13 keeps the 6.82-inch AMOLED screen with a 1440 x 3168 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It reaches a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The screen is flatter than the OnePlus 12’s but still has slight curves on all sides. This model is more durable with an IP69 rating, an upgrade from IP65, for better water and dust protection. It also has an improved ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display, making it easier to unlock the phone in low light or with wet fingers.

Camera and Connectivity ImprovementsOnePlus 13

The OnePlus 13 features three 50MP rear cameras branded by Hasselblad. The main camera has a 1/1.43-inch sensor with optical image stabilization. There’s also a telephoto lens with a 1/1.95-inch sensor and a 120-degree ultra-wide lens that works for macro shots. NFC is now full-area, so tap-to-pay is more accurate. Bluetooth range is also improved.
