Oppo launched the Find X8 series with two phones. The Pro model, in particular, has already set high expectations among smartphone enthusiasts. However, these won’t be the only two phones within the series. There will be a third: Oppo Find X8 Ultra.
According to a recent post by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, Oppo is testing a prototype of the Find X8 Ultra. This prototype will reportedly include some powerful upgrades.
The Find X8 Ultra might feature the advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. These chips will make the upcoming flagship offer smooth performance. Beyond sheer performance, this model is shaping up to be a true “camera beast.”
Oppo Find X8 Ultra Could Be the Next Big Camera Flagship
Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station suggests it will inherit the impressive dual-periscope camera setup from the Find X8 Pro. However, the X8 Ultra will come with enhanced optics and functionality. With a 1-inch primary sensor possibly in play, the upcoming camera flagship could offer great shots.
Digital Chat Station has hinted at a quad-camera system that promises versatility and power. This setup will reportedly include:
- A 50MP primary sensor with a 1-inch size
- A 50MP ultra-wide lens
- A 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom
- A second 50MP periscope lens featuring 6x optical zoom.
This array would offer high-quality shots across varying focal lengths. It would give users flexibility for wide-angle shots, close-ups, and long-distance captures.
Adding to the camera appeal, the Find X8 Ultra is expected to include a new Hasselblad multi-spectral sensor. This component should enhance color accuracy and detail. It could allow the smartphone to capture images that look vibrant and lifelike. Keeping the same focal lengths as the Find X8 Pro, the Ultra model could offer professional-level imaging quality.
Oppo is also rumored to integrate an Apple-inspired camera button, a feature first introduced on the Find X8 Pro. This button lets users swipe to control zoom smoothly. It makes capturing shots at varying zoom levels easier.
