MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Shines In Efficiency In New Benchmark Analysis

MediaTek Dimensity 9400

MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9400 is making waves in mobile tech. Recent tests by Golden Reviewer show it may set a new standard in GPU performance for Android devices.

For years, MediaTek has trailed behind Apple’s A-series chips and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon in power and speed. But the Dimensity 9400, with its 12-core Arm Immortalis-G925 GPU, is changing the game. This GPU doesn’t just deliver raw power. It also leads in terms of efficiency. In key tests, it outperforms Apple’s A18 Pro GPU in specific areas.

This new performance level makes the new MediaTek flagship SoC a serious contender in high-end smartphones. MediaTek’s latest chipset may now reshape how we look at performance and efficiency in mobile devices.

Dimensity 9400 Shows Its Efficiency Lead In New Benchmark Analysis

While the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 might not quite match Apple’s A18 Pro and Snapdragon 8 Elite in CPU performance, it shines brightly in GPU power and efficiency. Recent tests by Golden Reviewer reveal that this chipset’s Immortalis-G925 GPU is setting new standards.

On 3DMark’s Solar Bay ray-tracing test, the Dimensity 9400 recorded a powerful score of 11,817, with a power draw of 11.4 W. Apple’s A18 Pro, in comparison, scored 8,587 while drawing 11.1 W. This puts the Dimensity 9400 about 30% more efficient than the A18 Pro, a notable lead in GPU efficiency.
