Xiaomi 15 Global Version with Snapdragon 8 Elite spotted on Geekbench AI test database

Xiaomi 15 Pro Launch

The Xiaomi 15 has been on sale in the Chinese smartphone market for about three weeks. Xiaomi fans outside China are keenly waiting for the global launch, though the company has yet to set a date. According to a Xiaomi executive in India, this device will likely arrive in March next year. While this date hints at an Indian launch, it will likely be when the rest of the world will receive this device. In an unusual way, a new device designated “24129PN74G,” made an entry on Geekbench. This device is the global version of the Xiaomi 15.

The device was spotted in Geekbench’s AI test zone, where scores are known to be mixed. Tests have only run on the CPU so far, rather than the GPU or NPU. Since Geekbench’s AI tests are mostly CPU-bound, these scores might not fully show the power of the Xiaomi 15’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, especially when put against the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the Xiaomi 14.

One key detail fans hope for is the price. At this point, no hints have been given about how much the Xiaomi 15 global version will cost. This info will likely be kept until the official reveal. However, with its improved RAM and new HyperOS, it could be priced a bit higher than past Xiaomi models. Fans worldwide will have to wait until Xiaomi shares more.
