Samsung, a leader in foldable phones, is planning a big move. The company wants to make its foldable devices more affordable. To do this, it is working on a cheaper version of its popular Galaxy Z Flip series.

Samsung to Launch Budget-Friendly Galaxy Z Flip FE in 2025

According to industry expert Ross Young, Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Flip FE (Fan Edition) in 2025. This model will be more affordable than the flagship Galaxy Z Flip phones. Reports suggest it will use the same screen as the Galaxy Z Flip 7. However, to lower the price, Samsung will cut costs by using simpler cameras and processors.

Which Processor Will It Use?

The processor for the Galaxy Z Flip FE is still undecided. Two possible options are the Exynos 2400 or its lighter version, the Exynos 2400e. However, these chips will already be over a year old when the phone launches. This has led to speculation that Samsung might use the newer Exynos 2500 processor instead. For now, details remain unclear.

Affordable Foldable for More Users

The Galaxy Z Flip FE aims to bring foldable phones to a wider audience. It will offer the premium feel of foldable technology without the high price. To achieve this, Samsung will prioritize affordability over high-end specs.

A Bold Move for the Foldable Market

By launching the Galaxy Z Flip FE, Samsung hopes to expand the reach of foldable devices. This strategy could attract new users who find flagship models too expensive. It also shows Samsung’s confidence in the growing popularity of foldable phones.
