Redmi K80 Series Launch Date Leaks – Will Arrive on November 27

The highly-anticipated Redmi K80 series will make its debut in China very soon. According to a new leak, the new Redmi K80 and K80 Pro will reach the domestic market on November 27. Of course, the information still needs to be confirmed officially by the company. Anyway, the leak comes from a leaked promo image that shows the date in question.

Redmi K80 Series Coming Next Week With Xiaomi 14 Civi-inspired Design

The leaked promo image also gives us a good glimpse of the design of the upcoming smartphones. Both devices are slightly inspired by the Xiaomi 14 Civi which launched back in June. The smartphone has a circular camera island that is off to the left of the phone’s back. However, both phones have a linear LED flash strip that serves as a good way to differentiate them from the Civi smartphones.

Gizchina News of the week

We will see only two members of the family this year. According to previous rumors, the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro won’t be followed by a K80 Pro+ variant. Anyway, the regular Pro will carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Both smartphones share the same 6.67-inch 2K 120Hz flat screen and also boast IP68 dust and water resistance. The Pro variant will bring 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The vanilla model will have 90W and 30W charging respectively.

Redmi K80

Considering this leak, the wait for the Redmi K80 series won’t be long. In the next week, we will see the new cost-effective flagships landing in the Chinesese market. These devices will eventually reach international markets under the disguise of POCO F-series. The Redmi K80 might become the POCO F7, whereas the K80 Pro will launch overseas as the POCO F7 Pro. This is just speculation based on this series’s recent stories.

We expect a confirmation from Redmi regarding the launch date to happen soon. Until then, we keep watching the rumor mill for more details.
