The OnePlus 13 launched in China in October, and now, the company is preparing for a global launch. As revealed on the official website, the first international sale will commence on December 17. However, there will be limited units available at first.

OnePlus released its new Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship in China in October. Yes, the smartphone is already unofficially available for the global market via import. But that’s not necessary anymore. The company has just revealed its plans for an official global launch. As the teaser page on the official website shows, the first sale will take place on December 17.

However, the first batch of OnePlus 13 that will go on sale will be limited to 500 units. The company reveals that there will be a second batch on January 2 and a third on January 5, both of which will also be limited to 500 units, respectively. It’s unclear when the company will start the regular sale.

Those placing orders during these first three sales will receive exclusive benefits. For example, early orders for the OnePlus will be bundled with a OnePlus Watch 2 that’s worth $299. As for the phone itself, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, it stands as a competitor to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series.

Besides the flagship SoC, the OnePlus 13 has a capable camera setup, featuring triple 50 MP sensors with a periscope telephoto offering 3x optical zoom. A 6,000 mAh Si/C battery powers the internals, which has support for 50W wireless and 100W wired charging.

Other highlights of the phone include up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, IP68 and IP69 ratings, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. There’s no word on the global pricing yet, but in China, the OnePlus 13 starts at CNY 4,499 (around $617).
