ZTE’s Nubia is getting ready to launch a new phone called the Nubia Focus 2 5G. This device, with model number Z2462N, will replace the Nubia Focus 5G, which came out earlier this year in the second quarter.
Nubia Focus 2 5G: Key Specifications and Rear Design Revealed
The Nubia Focus 5G is an affordable smartphone with some great features. It has a 108 MP camera, a 5,000 mAh battery, and 33W fast charging. There’s also the Nubia Focus Pro 5G, an upgraded version with a bigger screen. The Pro model’s display is increased from a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD to a 6.72-inch Full HD+ screen. It also includes optical image stabilization and a 5 MP ultrawide lens for better photos.
For the Nubia Focus 2 5G, the exact specifications are still unknown. However, certification documents from the EU Declaration of Conformity include a blurry photo showing the phone’s design. Based on this image, the device seems to have three cameras. This is different from the Nubia Focus 5G, which only had two cameras: a 108 MP main sensor and a 2 MP auxiliary sensor. The new phone may add an ultrawide camera.
The Nubia Focus 2 5G also appeared in a Wi-Fi certification. This confirms it will run on “Android V,” the code name for Vanilla Ice Cream, or Android 15. It will support 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands and Wi-Fi 5, which means it will have stable wireless connectivity. The Bluetooth certification, on the other hand, didn’t provide any important details.
The Nubia Focus 2 5G is expected to keep the modern features found in the Nubia Focus 5G. This makes it a good option for people who want an affordable phone with up-to-date tech. A leak also suggests ZTE is working on a 4G version of the phone for regions where 5G isn’t widely used yet. However, ZTE reportedly won’t release a Pro version of the Nubia Focus 2 this year, focusing only on the regular models.
