Oppo recently launched the Pad 3, which became the first Android tablet to feature the Dimensity 8350 chipset. This MediaTek SoC is an upgraded version of the Dimensity 8300, offering better performance. The eight-core processor comes with the new StarSpeed Engine, aimed at improving gaming performance. According to the company, this engine increases energy efficiency by 10% and boosts scene transition speeds by 24%. Now, this tablet has been rebranded as the OnePlus Pad 2024, but all the main specifications remain unchanged.

What is the Point of the New Tablet?

This is a rather intriguing release, we have to agree. The original OnePlus Pad is a rebadged Oppo Pad 2. Now, this one is an Oppo Pad 3 with a different name. What is the exact point of launching the same set of specs with a different name? Perhaps, OnePlus‘ name may have more appeal. Another possibility is that this one will debut outside of China. Only the two brands have the answer and we will have to wait for further details.
