Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 14 Globally with New Features
Redmi Note 14 5G
The Redmi Note 14 5G uses the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset. It’s not clear how this differs from the regular Dimensity 7025. The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It offers 2,100 nits of peak brightness and has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. A punch-hole houses the 20 MP front camera.
On the back, there’s a 108 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 1/1.67-inch sensor. It’s joined by an 8 MP ultrawide camera and a 2 MP macro lens. The phone is IP64-rated for dust and water resistance, an improvement over the previous model’s IP54 rating.
The Redmi Note 14 5G includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a rare feature today. It has a 5,110 mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. A 45W charger is included in the box, except in the EU due to regulations.
The phone runs HyperOS on top of Android 14, featuring AI tools like AI Erase and AI Beautify. It comes in Black, Purple, and Coral Green, with memory options of 6/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/512 GB. Prices will be official soon.
Redmi Note 14 4G: A Simpler Option
The Redmi Note 14 4G is powered by the Helio G99 chipset, which is older. It keeps the 108 MP main camera but drops OIS. There’s no ultrawide camera. Instead, it has a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP macro camera. The front camera is the same 20 MP unit.
This model has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. It can reach 1,800 nits of brightness and is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light. The screen has also Gorilla Glass protection.
The 4G version has a bigger 5,500 mAh battery with 33W wired charging. It comes with the charger outside the EU. It’s IP54-rated and has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It also runs HyperOS with basic AI features.
The phone comes in Black, Purple, Blue, and Lime Green. It’s available in 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, and 8/256 GB versions. Prices start at €200/£180, with higher versions costing €230/£230, depending on the region.
