ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra Renders Reveal Design Ahead of Launch

When it comes to standard smartphones, we can say that ASUS isn’t the most prominent name in this crowded market. This can’t be said of the gaming range, as the ROG Phone series is among the strongest in this category. The giant of computers and technology, however, still has its Zenfone lineup available with timely releases every year. While the company slowed its approach in the market in recent years, we can say that the Zenfone kickstarted a set of tendencies in the market. To recall, this lineup was the first to bring 4 GB of RAM in a smartphone, which was considered overkill back then. Now, we have 16 GB and even 24 GB of RAM in Smartphones. ASUS confirmed that their next big thing for the series, the Zenfone 12 Ultra will arrive on February 6. Today, press renders and detailed specs of the phone have surfaced.

The design features a slightly smaller but wider camera module compared to the Zenfone 11 Ultra. It still includes a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and OIS. Most of its specs are similar to the ROG Phone 9. However, it may come with it a smaller 5,500mAh battery instead of the 5,800mAh found in the ROG model.

ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra Specifications and Features

The ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate (up to 144Hz for gaming). The Samsung E6 panel supports 10-bit HDR, reaches 2,500 nits brightness, and offers Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It boasts 107.37% DCI-P3, 145.65% sRGB, and 103.16% NTSC color coverage.
