This month Xiaomi will finally complete its Xiaomi 15 lineup with the launch of the Ultra variant. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is due for release soon, and as usual, the leaks around its release are intensifying. The smartphone will also get a global release, which makes it an exciting deal. The phone comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite and has been spotted on the Geekbench AI database.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra that ran Geekbench AI could be a prototype or pre-release model. After all, it scored rather low on the test. Perhaps, the tester didn’t choose to use the hardware-accelerated NPU engine in the smartphone. Regardless of that, we can already see some of its key specifications.
The listing confirms the smartphone with the Adreno 830 GPU, which only the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC has. Moreover, it has Android 15 which is hardly a surprise at this point. This particular variant runs with 16 GB of RAM.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra Alleged Specifications
According to the rumors, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will once again bring powerful cameras as a key selling point. The device will have a 1-inch type main camera sensor, likely Sony’s Lytia LYT-900. There will also be a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 Periscope Telephoto Camera and a 50 MP Sony IMX858 short-range zoom camera. The device also has a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 Ultrawide snapper. We also expect to see a large QHD+ AMOLED touch-screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the phone will have a huge 6,000 mAh battery likely from the silicon-carbon type. It will have 90W Wired charging support and 50W wireless charging. We also expect long-term software support for the new flagship.
With the rumors pointing to a release later this month, we expect more leaks to surface in the coming days. Xiaomi may also begin soon a marketing campaign to tease the highlights of its upcoming flagship. With this launch we can say that the Xiaomi 15 series is complete, however, there is still room for surprises.
