Oppo Find X8 Mini Has Its Camera Details Tipped

Oppo is expected to make its big move in the flagship market with the Oppo Find X8 series in March. The lineup is expected to introduce the Oppo Find X8 Mini, Find X8 Ultra, and the Find X8S. Today, new camera details have emerged for the Oppo Find X8 Mini model. The device will allegedly pack a triple-camera setup that covers a focal range of 0.6X-7X.

Oppo Find X8 Mini Coming with Triple 50 MP Camera Setup

The Oppo Find X8 Mini is expected to come with a 50 MP Main Camera (IMX9 series) with a 1/1.56″ sensor and OIS. Furthermore, there is a 50 MP periscope camera with a 3.5X optical zoom and an f/2.8 aperture. There is a third shooter on the back with a 50 MP ultrawide lens with f/2.0 aperture.

The X8 Mini camera details follow a recent leak that uncovered the phone’s display details. It won’t be so tiny as the name might suggest as the display has 6.3-inches. Perhaps, the form fact and screen proportion could give the Mini effect in the smartphone. The display will be of the LTPO OLED display kind with 1,216 x 2,640 pixels of resolution and a variable 1-120Hz refresh rate. The panel will also be equipped with an optical fingerprint scanner.

Oppo Find X8 Mini

The Oppo Find X8 Mini will come with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset in China. According to rumors, the phone could launch internationally as a new OnePlus smartphone. Perhaps, the OnePlus 13 Mini? Only time will tell, but the OnePlus variant might come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a modified camera setup. So it won’t be a direct rebrand but mostly based on the Oppo Find X8 mini.

We expect more details to keep popping out in the coming weeks ahead of the Find X8 series launch. Oppo has slowed its presence across global markets focusing more on OnePlus and Realme’s name, but still, these releases are highly-anticipated by smartphone enthusiasts and fans of the brand. It is worth noting that the company is also gearing up to introduce the thinnest foldable smartphone in the coming months.
