Samsung’s upcoming One UI 7 update might bring one of the Galaxy S25 series’ standout features to the current Galaxy S24 lineup. According to a recent report, the Audio Eraser tool, which allows users to remove or adjust specific sounds in videos, could be introduced to the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra.
This feature is handy for eliminating unwanted background noise such as wind, traffic, or other ambient sounds. This eventually enhances video quality for users. While the Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch with this tool built-in, reports suggest that Samsung will extend support to its current flagship lineup.
Expanding AI features despite hardware limits
Not all older Galaxy models will receive every One UI 7 feature due to hardware constraints. Some AI-driven functions are expected to remain exclusive to newer devices. The addition of Best Face to older Galaxy models highlights Samsung’s effort to bring AI-powered improvements to previous flagship devices, even if some features remain restricted. One of the more exclusive camera features in One UI 7 is Log Video. This feature is confirmed only for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Log Video allows professional users to capture videos with a flat colour profile, offering greater flexibility in post-production editing.
It is still unknown whether Samsung will extend this feature to the standard Galaxy S24 and S24+. However, so far, reports suggest it may remain exclusive to the Ultra variant.
