Vivo V50 Debuts with 6,000 mAh Battery and Familiar Features

tivo has launched the Vivo V50 in India, bringing key upgrades over its predecessor. The new model offers a larger battery, faster charging, and better durability while keeping many popular features from the Vivo V40.

Vivo V50 Officially Launches in India

The Vivo V50 now comes with a 6,000 mAh battery, offering longer battery life. It supports 90W fast charging, reducing the time needed to recharge. This upgrade ensures users stay powered throughout the day with minimal downtime.

Bright and Smooth Display

The 6.77-inch OLED display has an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth experience. The screen features a quad-curved design, which is now more ergonomic. Diamond Shield Glass enhances durability, providing better drop resistance. With 4,500 nits peak brightness, the display remains visible even in direct sunlight.

Reliable Performance with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3

Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the Vivo V50 ensures smooth performance for gaming and multitasking. The device includes up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. However, there is no option for expandable storage.

Triple 50MP Camera System

The Vivo V50 features a triple 50MP camera setup, developed with Zeiss optics. The 50MP main sensor (23mm equivalent) includes OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for sharper images. The 50MP ultrawide sensor with autofocus captures detailed landscapes. Additionally, The 50MP front camera takes high-quality selfies, making it ideal for content creators.

Software and Durability

Running on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15, the Vivo V50 will receive three Android updates and four years of security patches. It also has an IP68/IP69 rating, making it resistant to water and dust.

Colors and Pricing

The Vivo V50 comes in three colors: Rose Red, Starry Night, and Titanium Grey. Pricing starts at INR 34,999 ($403) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, while the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage version costs INR 40,999 ($472).

Launch Date and Availability

The Vivo V50 will be available from February 25 through Vivo India’s online store and partnering retailers.
