Oppo fans might be eagerly waiting for the release of the flagship Oppo Find X8 series. However, Oppo’s smartphone lineup can’t be summed up to the flagship series. That said, the company is planning a new update for its Oppo F-series. The Oppo F29 and F29 Pro will hit the Indian market on March 20 at noon local time. Ahead of the release, most of the smartphones’ details have leaked online including price and key specs.
Oppo F29 and F29 Pro Key Specifications
Oppo has not detailed the specifications. However, it already confirms both devices with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. The two smartphones will also support underwater photography and come with a 360-degrees Armor Body and “Hunter Antenna” that boosts network signal strenght by 300%.
As per the leaks, the Oppo F29 will sell in Solid Purple and Glacier Blue color options. They will sell in two distinct variants with 8 GB of RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of Internal Storage. The handset will draw its powers from a big 6,500 mAh battery with 45W fast-charging support. The primary camera will use a 50 MP sensor.

The F29 Pro, on the other hand, will sell in Marble White and Granite Black color options. The device will have the same variants as the vanilla plus a third option with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB of Storage. It will also come with a 50 MP main camera. The battery is smaller with 6,000 mAh total capacity, but we have to agree that this isn’t exact small. The sacrifice in capacity happens to pair the Pro variant with a faster 80W charging rate.

There are still a couple of days before the launch. We can expect Oppo to unleash teasers in the coming days to build hype for its next release. For now, there is no confirmation regarding the chipset inside the two smartphones. However, leaks have pointed to the Dimensity 7300 which is already familiar for Oppo in the mid-range segment. MediaTek’s CPU could be used in the vanilla modelh The Pro variant, might come the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.
