Infinix NOTE 50 Series: One-Tap Infinix AI∞ and Automotive Metal Build Coming to Redefine Flagship Standards

Infinix Note 50

Infinix is gearing up to introduce a wide array of interesting products on March 20th. The list includes a new One-Tap Infinix AI∞ which stands as the company’s response to the new trend of AI-powered features in smartphones. The AI will go beyond the smartphone segment by reaching devices in the AIoT range. However, the upcoming Infinix NOTE 50 series will be a big showcase for the upcoming technology. The brand’s upcoming sub-$500 flagship will play a key role in the AI shift, but it also represents a new milestone for Infinix which adds some interesting features to its range of premium smartphones.

Besides AI powers, the upcoming Infinix NOTE 50 series will also have an innovative metal structure in its build. Its advanced unibody design will consist of a metal build that resembles the car manufacturing process. As per the rumors, it draws inspiration from the new energy vehicle manufacturing. The brand’s goal is to deliver a durable structure with efficient production. In the end, the Infinix Note 50 series will bring a tough build with eco-friendly manufacturing.

Meet the New Infinix Note series Manufacturing Approach

Taking inspiration from some of the electric vehicle makers, Infinix uses a new manufacturing process with the Infinix Note 50 series. The goal is to reduce costs and introduce eco-friendly manufacturing. Most of the smartphones use plastic or glass backs in their build. While metal unibody was a tendency almost ten years ago, most of the brands have moved from this concept. The Infinix NOTE 50 series aims to bring it back with more efficiency through what it defines as real metal ArmorAlloy design.

The new ArmorAlloy Design

The smartphone’s advanced material blends Damascus steel’s signature with aluminum alloy’s lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. It results in a scratch-resistant and durable phone that can withstand wear, tear, and humid conditions. As an interesting addition, it also uses recyclable materials, which makes it an eco-friendly smartphone. To recall, preserving the environment has been one of the focuses of this industry in the past year as brands have a mode to reduce electronic waste.

As per the rumors, Infinix is developing a next-gen production process which stands for HyperCasting. It involves melting aluminum alloy at 700°C and injecting it into a mold under 600 tons of pressure. It forms multiple phone components in just one go. This process is more efficient and makes the smartphone lighter and more durable.

Interestingly, the use of an all-metal structure certainly adds to the heat dissipation, which gives the smartphones certain advantages in heavy tasks.

The Premium Design of the Infinix NOTE 50 series

Besides the metal structure, Infinix is also adding some unique touches to the NOTE 50 series. For example, the octagonal camera design is something unique in the smartphone market. The brand is taking inspiration from sports car air intakes, diamond-cut light reflections, and Harry Winston jewelry.

In the end, the upcoming Infinix NOTE 50 series will be the company’s showcase of the new design and build. We are curious to see what it has in tow. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait much as its launch is scheduled for March 20.
