Fans of the flagship-killer segment have been eagerly waiting for the release of the new POCO F-series. Today, POCO announced when this will happen. On March 27, the POCO F7 series will be unveiled in Singapore at 8:00 GMT. The company posted a teaser image that only shows two smartphones. These are rumored to come as POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra. The teaser tagline is “Ultrapower Unleashed” which makes a clear allusion to the first “Ultra” phone in the POCO Family.
POCO F7 Series Specifications
This is a global event, so the POCO F7 series will launch in other regions at the same time. According to the rumors, there will be a vanilla POCO F7 that will launch only in India. However, there are no details regarding the vanilla variant, which could point to a later release.
We don’t need to go much into speculation to guess the specs of the POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra. POCO usually rebadges existing Redmi smartphones, and this lineup won’t be an exception. As per the leaks, the POCO F7 and F7 Ultra are variants of the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro, respectively. However, we can see some changes in the specifications, especially when it comes to the battery capacity.
This release brings the POCO F-series update a little ahead of last year’s schedule. To recall, the POCO F6 series launched in May 2024, and the F5 family in May 2023. With the POCO F7 family launching next week, we are two months ahead of the usual. Perhaps, this will be a new time frame for future releases.
The POCO F7 series launch event will be live on YouTube and X.
