Samsung is stepping up its game when it comes to software support. In a fresh update straight from Samsung Singapore, the company confirmed that even more Galaxy devices are now officially set to receive the latest One UI 7 upgrade—stretching back to models released as early as 2021. Up until now, it was clear that the newest flagships like the Galaxy S24 and S23 series, the Z Fold6, Z Fold5, Z Flip6, and Z Flip5, as well as the latest Galaxy Tab S10 and Tab S9 lines, would be among the first in line. However, the latest press release reveals that the update will reach far more devices than previously expected.

What’s Missing?
While the list already covers a significant range of devices, Samsung hasn’t yet shared details about the mid-range Galaxy A series. Given the company’s usual approach, it’s a safe bet that several Galaxy A models will eventually join the One UI 7 lineup—but no official confirmation yet.
When Is The Rollout Happening?
No one can predict so far when the global rollout is happening. What we do know is that updates will begin rolling out regionally from April 7th. Obviously, there will be some markets receiving it by April 10th, and others by April 14th. Note however that all of the above info comes directly from Samsung Singapore’s official statement.
In typical South Korean fashion, the rollout will likely follow a staggered schedule, prioritizing flagship models first before gradually covering older devices.
