Oppo has confirmed that the Find X8 Ultra will launch globally on April 10. Ahead of its unveiling, the phone has passed certification by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, revealing its key specifications and design. An ID photo from the filing shows the device in a white color scheme with a large circular rear camera module. The handset features the expected volume keys and a new button on the opposite side, which could provide additional software or hardware functions, though its purpose remains unknown for now.

Quad 50MP camera system leads the specs

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is equipped with a total of four 50MP cameras on the rear, each reportedly using different sensors and lenses to handle a range of imaging scenarios. These include a LYT900 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a JN5 ultra-wide camera, a LYT700 telephoto macro unit with 3x zoom, and a LYT600 lens with 6x optical zoom and an f/3.1 aperture. There is also a 2MP multispectral lens to assist with specific capture scenarios. On the front, users will find a 32MP selfie camera.

Other Oppo devices expected at the launch event

The April 10 event will also feature the introduction of two other phones: the Oppo Find X8s and Find X8s+. These models will likely complement the Ultra model in different price segments. In addition, Oppo will showcase the next generation of its magnetic charging ecosystem, Mag 2.0, alongside other smart devices, including the Oppo Watch X2 Mini, the Oppo Pad 4 Pro tablet, and the Oppo Enco Free4 wireless earbuds. More details will become official at the launch, but the certification and leaked configuration give a solid preview of what to expect from Oppo’s next flagship release.
