Samsung used to be one of the best when it came to quickly updating phones and tablets to the latest version of Android. That’s changed with Android 15. Even though Google released Android 15 back in October 2024, many Samsung phones are still running Android 14 with One UI 6.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series in early February 2025 with One UI 7, but that update didn’t reach older phones. Users have been waiting for months. Now, we finally have a clearer picture of when One UI 7 will reach more devices.
New Rollout Schedule Shared for Korea
A user posted a screenshot in the Samsung Members forum that shows the One UI 7 update timeline for Korea. This is useful for users in other countries too. Samsung usually releases updates in Korea first, then follows up in places like the US soon after.
So while this isn’t the official US schedule, it gives us a fair idea of what to expect.

What If Your Device Isn’t Listed?
If your Samsung phone or tablet isn’t on this list, don’t panic. Some models—like the Galaxy S21 FE—aren’t listed simply because they weren’t released in Korea. More info should come soon when Samsung shares an official US rollout plan.
But for now, this list gives a good look at what to expect and when. If you have a fairly new Galaxy device, your update should be coming soon.
