RedMagic 10 Air Launches with Thin Build and Powerful Battery Life

nubia officially launched the RedMagic 10 Air, a new series of gaming smartphones. It is distinguished by its slim body, with a measurement of merely 7.85mm. Slim as it is, the phone does come with powerful hardware that is geared towards gamers.

The RedMagic 10 Air boasts a massive 6.8-inch AMOLED display. It comes with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz smooth refresh rate. The screen also comes with up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness, so it is extremely readable even in the daylight. The bezels are slim, and it comes with a 16MP under-display front camera. It comes with an in-screen fingerprint reader for security and convenience.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, previously Qualcomm‘s flagship processor. The phone also features up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. That is sufficient for gaming, multitasking, and for storing games, videos, and applications.

There is a dual-camera at the back. It includes a 50MP wide-angle sensor and an ultrawide lens. They are ideal for capturing photos and videos. The phone runs on RedMagic OS 10.0, on top of Android 15.

As a gaming phone, the RedMagic 10 Air features a few more for games. It comes with touch-sensitive shoulder keys that can be remappable to games. The phone also features a better cooling system. It uses a vapor chamber, thermal gel, and graphene layers to cool the phone during prolonged gaming sessions.

RedMagic 10 Air is available in three colors: Twilight (Black), Hailstone (White), and Flare (Orange). The phone has a base price tag of CNY 3,499 (approximately $476) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The highest model featuring 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is available for CNY 4,199 (approximately $571).

The phone is already available for purchase in China. There is no word about availability outside China yet.
