Motorola has introduced two new smartphones in India and a stunning laptop! Yes, it’s not every day we see Motorola computers, but Lenovo is well-known in this regard with its traditional laptops. The popular computing brand seems to want to try with Motorola’s name in this field. Two devices are reaching India today: the Moto Pad 60 Pro tablet and the Moto Book 60 laptop. The devices follow the Pantone color design that the company’s phones bring, and both are capable of mid-range specifications and prices.
Moto Pad 60 Pro Specifications
The Moto Pad 60 Pro has a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC and 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The storage is 128 GB or 256 GB. Motorola also added a microSD slot for up to 1 TB of extra memory. The device flaunts a large 12.7-inch LTPS LCD with up to 144 Hz refresh rate. The resolution is 2,944 x 1,840 pixels. The tablet comes with support for a Moto Pen Pro stylus. It comes with a set included in the retail box. It offers quad JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos support and brings AI tools with Google integration, including Circle to Search.
The battery of the Moto Pad 60 Pro has a 10,200 mAh battery capacity and supports 45W wired charging. The smartphone has a 13 MP main camera and an 8 MP front-facing shooter for video calls. The specifications are anything but new because this device is a rebadged Lenovo Idea Tab Pad Pro. Curiously, it was launched last month in India in a sober Gray color. If you prefer a Motorola logo in a fancy green or blue color, then it’s your turn.
Motorola currently sells the Moto Pad 60 Pro only in Pantone Bronze Green color. It costs INR 26,999 ($315 / €280) for the base model with 8GB/128 GB. The INR 29,999 ($350/310) option brings 12GB/256 GB. The sale will begin next Wednesday, April 23, with the tablet being available on Flipkart, Motorola India’s online store, and select offline retailers.
Moto Book 60
The Moto Book 60 certainly will be a piece that collectors won’t miss. It’s a Windows laptop exclusively launched in India in Bronze Green or Wedgewood color options. The device has an Intel Core 5 or an Intel Core 7 processor. Both are paired with 16 GB of RAM and 512 or 1 TB of Internal Storage. The device packs a 14-inch OLED screen with 2.8K resolution. There are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. Motorola equipped the laptop with a 60Wh battery that supports 65W charging over USB-C.
The Moto Book 60 has one version with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and an Intel Core 5 processor. It sells for INR 66,990 ($785). There is also a variant with Intel Core 7 that costs about INR 74,990 ($875) and one with 1 TB of storage that sells for INR 78,990 ($925). Just like the tablet, the new laptop will sell through Flipkart from April 23. It will also be available in some offline stores and on the Motorola India website.
