The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (full specs, pricing here) just launched in China, but the good folks over at it168 seem to have got their hands on one already for a teardown.
The Redmi Note 3 is a surprise addition to the Redmi lineup, which comes only a little over a couple of months after the Redmi Note 2 was launched. The USP of the phone according to Xiaomi is its metal build, besides of course the fingerprint sensor — which is a first for Xiaomi.
Despite the features, the Redmi Note 3 remains to be an affordable phone. It also happens to be the first phone in which Xiaomi have put a 3500mAh (or larger) battery; effectively making the 4000mAh battery on the phone the largest-capacity battery Xiaomi have ever shipped on a phone.

There are loads of places that you can pre-order this online i am from the UKso if i can order one and they are not even designed for the west it cant be that hard
Do you know what a pre-order is? It means it is not available to order which only further proves his point. On a Chinese website a pre-order means very little, you could have the phone at launch you could have it 6 months from now.
In my case the pre order lead time dates have been fairly accurate. Of course if its a super popular item and you order too late you will have to wait until the next batches arrive

An English translation of Chinese Notations accompanying the teardown pics will be good for us lesser Humans who do not read Chinese.

Some chinese phones actually have a hidden SD card slot inside the unibody case. Unfortunately that’s not case for Redmi Note 3:(

Just out of curiosity what is the big need for a removable battery? The only time I ever had a need to remove one was in the early days of Chinese phones when the software was so terrible it would freeze up and a bettery pull was the only way to reset it. With a Xiaomi I have never needed to even touch the battery.
Agreed, by the time you need to worry about a replacement battery, the phone will be outdated anyways.

but samsung asus sony Huawei zte lenovo and of course most of Chinese phones ,have removable battery and a sd-card slot
and what if the rom is not that good and it does freeze in the middle of the day, what to do?
and what if my phone break and i what to get my pictures from it, with a sd-card slot i do it in 2 seconds, just take the sd-card out.

Non-removable batteries should have physical reset switches once the back cover is opened like the thl 5000.
You can keep pressing the power button and the phone will restart when suffering from a freeze.
Personally, both non-removable and removable batteries are fine for me, but lack of sd card, despite never personally exceeding my 32gbs rom storage, i still find them useful.
I have used phones from all of those companies and never had an issue with freezing where a battery pull would be needed. Removable battery is actually starting to go away with the release of metal phones. What if your phone breaks and your SD card fails or is lost? All those pictures are gone.

xiaomi smartphone = crap camera !! my redmi note 2 prime have poor camera. Tomorrow i will receive the xiaomi mi4c.

Shame that MIUI like TouchWIZ is slugish compared to the hardware inside, and still have a few issues with Google Play. That`s the only reasons not to buy Xiaomi outside China.
