Ever heard of Shenzhen JiaYuYuTong? Neither had we until just now when we received details of this their fantastic looking JiaYu G3 Android smartphone!Unlike other Chinese manufacturers who tend to make phones copying the latest phones from large brands (we’re looking at you HDC) JiaYuYuTong have decided to enter the Android phone market with an all new phone featuring great looks and a fantastic hardware line up.
From the renderings we have here of how the JiaYu G3 promises to look we can see that this 4.5 inch Android phone actually does have a hint of Oppo Finder or perhaps even iPhone 5 concept, but overall the style is fresh and very appealing!
Gizchina News of the week
The 4.5 inch screen will sport a whopping number of pixels to bring a full 1280 × 720 resolution to the JiaYu, while an 8 mega-pixel rear camera and 2 mega-pixel front camera will ensure you have some great photos to splash across the large expanse of screen.
Under the hoop and below the aircraft grade alloy body sits a MTK6577 dual core 1ghz CPU, 1GB RAM, and 4GB built in memory. JiaYuYuTong’s designers have also managed to cram in a large 2500 mah battery in the 10.8mm slim body!

Hi Andi,
This phone seems to have everything one can ask for from a Dual-Sim phone in both hardware and software. Do you think it will become the game-changer for chinese dual-sim androids ( I do understand that there are several dual-cores lined up for next 60 days) and will spoil the day for the likes of Zopo ZP300 etc? How does the quality of Jiayu products stack up against the competition?
Cheers!
Amby
Hi Amby,
I know of two dual core phones running this CPU. The JiaYu and a larger Galaxy Note style phone (I’ll have details soon). The JiaYu here looks pretty good although I haven’t seen it in the flesh so can’t say just how well made it is. Prices are going to be about $250 according to some sites!
More JiaYu G3 details for you : )

Good stuff, Andi ! Keep us posted on the release dates (and best place – online – to buy it from) . I reckon my search for a brilliant dual-sim android ends here (unless a maverick comes up with something even better in next 1 month! )… You have no idea how closely I am following Gizchina 😛 Almost stalking you Andi ! :))
Awesome my first stalker 😉

Hi!
This phone looks really great!
Do you know its camera manufacturer?
Thanks!
Possible Sony but not sure. There is actually another company selling the Jiayu G3 under a different brand which a Gizchina reader spotted a few days ago. I’ll post details of it later today.
I will buy one, I hope the GPS of the G3 be good and not the bad GPS of regulars Chinese Phones
We just have to wait for a release date now 😉
